Shelter Project: Max's Fur Family Rescue

Recently I made it my goal to donate my photography services to 10 animal shelters. I already photographed puppies and bunnies and now I am adding cats to the list!
So I was happy to when I was contacted by Laura from Max's Fur Family Rescue who desperately needed a photographer. She runs the shelter by herself and after doing everything she can to help the cats, she has little time and help to actually photograph them. Photographing cats is significantly different than photographing dogs or even rabbits. Most of the time you can get them to sit, or at the very least control the area they stay in. While cats really do what they want, you can't get their attention by calling to them and you can't ask them to sit on command. Yet, the cats are so beautiful with their big bright eyes, that I can forgive them for being difficult!

Please contact me if you are interested in any of the cats.

Photoshoot: Marina and Nahla 2

Recently, I visited my sister, who lives 3 hours away from me. Naturally, we had to have a photoshoot for her and her puppy, Nahla, who is a 7 month miniature poodle. In September we had a photoshoot as well which you can see here. So here are the photos:

Wedding: Kim & Jon

I second shot a wedding for VIP Events LLC, at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury. The couple was absolutely stunning, which of course made photographing them a LOT of fun! The Groom, Jon, is an umpire for a minor league team, so there were a lot of baseball bats in the photos, as well as an Australian flag, since the groom was Australian! This is the couples third wedding. They had a ceremony in the summer, and then a reception in Australia for Jon's family, and a reception in CT for Kim's wedding. That's why the wedding was so great, they're seasoned pros!

Newborn Shoot: Alexander, 1 Week old!

June of last year, I photographed two beautiful sisters, Jaymi and Gianna. They were incredibly photogenic and were so sweet and polite. This month, their parents were blessed with a little baby boy named Alexander and I was there a week later to take his newborn photos as well as their family photos! Alexander was an adorable and big baby boy! He definitely didn't love being photographed as much as his sisters, but with a face that cute, he'll definitely have to get use to it!

Shelter Project: Hop A Long Hallow

Second Shelter of the year and I am thrilled about it! Hop A Long Hallow , Norwalk, CT based, is a wonderful shelter. Linda Thibault is the President and her selfless hard work and sacrifices for the shelter are commendable. I had a wonderful experience photographing the bunnies, they were so sweet and they all had incredible stories. Many of these bunnies were rescued from awful situation and Linda and her crew have done an amazing job rehabilitating them.

Here are the awesome pictures.  There will be some notes about certain bunnies that you should read.

Please visit the Hop A Long Hallow facebook page and website.

Its hard to describe the awful torment this bunny must have gone through. His ears have been cut clean off before he was abandoned. When Hop A Long Hallow first got him he was very distrustful towards humans and a bit of a "troubled" bunny. I don't blame him! He's come a long way, hes one of the sweetest bunnies ever and has even bonded with another very sweet bunny. This bonded pair is very, very special and deserve to go to a special, caring home.

This bunny has only one ear, so of course, I had to dress him up into the Mardi Gra bunny, he'll be the life of the party!

This Sassy Pair is looking for a home. Fashonista bunnies are the best kind of bunnies!
Patriots or Giants? These bunnies have chosen their sides.
