Shelter Project: Max's Fur Family Rescue

Recently I made it my goal to donate my photography services to 10 animal shelters. I already photographed puppies and bunnies and now I am adding cats to the list!
So I was happy to when I was contacted by Laura from Max's Fur Family Rescue who desperately needed a photographer. She runs the shelter by herself and after doing everything she can to help the cats, she has little time and help to actually photograph them. Photographing cats is significantly different than photographing dogs or even rabbits. Most of the time you can get them to sit, or at the very least control the area they stay in. While cats really do what they want, you can't get their attention by calling to them and you can't ask them to sit on command. Yet, the cats are so beautiful with their big bright eyes, that I can forgive them for being difficult!

Please contact me if you are interested in any of the cats.

Photoshoot: Marina and Nahla 2

Recently, I visited my sister, who lives 3 hours away from me. Naturally, we had to have a photoshoot for her and her puppy, Nahla, who is a 7 month miniature poodle. In September we had a photoshoot as well which you can see here. So here are the photos:
